When I photograph families, it’s never just about posing and saying, "Smile!" Instead, we run, play, and laugh together, making the experience fun and natural—especially when there are four energetic little boys to keep engaged! I never have to ask kids to smile; when they’re having fun, those joyful expressions come out all on their own.
For this shoot, Playa San Juan provided the perfect setting. With its soft sand for running, shallow waters for splashing, and the stunning backdrop of distant mountains and the sparkling Mediterranean, it was an ideal place to capture the love and connection of this beautiful family.

After capturing playful and heartwarming family moments, Dad had a special request—he wanted a few romantic shots with just Mom. But what happened next took everyone by surprise. As they stood together, he suddenly dropped to one knee and pulled out a ring! A proposal in the middle of a family shoot—what an unforgettable moment! The joy, shock, and happy tears made for the most incredible photos, and I’m so honoured to have been there to document it all.
Capturing these kinds of real, emotional moments is what I love most about photography. This session was a reminder that sometimes the most magical memories happen when you least expect them!
